2030 Vision for the
Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee

By 2030, we envision the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) and the Dead Sea as thriving symbols of environmental resilience, sustainable tourism, and international cooperation. These iconic bodies of water will be preserved and revitalized and serve as global examples of how natural wonders can be protected through innovative strategies and collaborative efforts.

In the aftermath of October 7th, 2023 and the Gaza war, healing Israeli society from trauma and fostering unity has never been more crucial. The Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, serves as a natural sanctuary for rehabilitation and therapy, renowned for its therapeutic mud baths and mineral-rich waters. This unique location symbolizes resilience and offers profound healing qualities essential for post-trauma recovery.

Environmental resilience connects us deeply with nature, promoting unity and a renewed commitment to conservation. The Dead Sea’s rapid recession underscores the urgency of our efforts. By integrating innovative conservation strategies and fostering environmental stewardship, we can heal both our society and the environment.

Let’s unite around this mission, transforming trauma into a renewed dedication to preserving our natural wonders for future generations.

Conservation Plan

Our $3.5 million conservation plan focuses on key initiatives:

1. Promoting Global Sustainable Tourism

  • Development of a Fleet of Electric Boats: Partnering with the United Arab Emirates, we will introduce a fleet of state-of-the-art electric boats designed to offer eco-friendly sightseeing adventures. These boats will minimize environmental impact while providing unique and immersive experiences on the Kinneret and the Dead Sea.

  • Investing in Accessibility: We will improve the accessibility of beaches, ensuring they are open to the public and equipped for a range of activities. This will include the development of infrastructure to accommodate all visitors, promoting inclusive tourism.

2. Cooperation in Regional and Global Water Diplomacy

  • P2P Environmental Regional Tourism Programs: In collaboration with countries of the Abraham Accords, we will develop peer-to-peer tourism programs that emphasize environmental education and regional cooperation. These programs will foster mutual understanding and shared responsibility for water conservation.

  • Global Climate Change Innovation Hub: Establish a hub dedicated to developing and sharing innovative solutions to combat climate change. This center will focus on research, technology, and policy advocacy, drawing experts and stakeholders from around the world.

3. Enhancing Local Engagement and Development

  • 'Aliya' Immigration Initiative: Encourage the immigration of young Jews ('Aliya') to Israel who will actively participate in the development and preservation of the Kinneret and the Dead Sea. These individuals will be involved in guiding, training, and welcoming tourists, thereby fostering a new generation of environmental stewards.

  • Public Involvement and Education: Engage local communities through educational programs and public awareness campaigns to promote the importance of conservation efforts and sustainable practices.

4. Rehabilitation of Israeli Society

  • Psychological Recovery Programs: Implementing initiatives focused on healing trauma, fostering unity, and instilling a renewed commitment to preserving Israel's natural wonders.

Financial Allocation

The 3.5 million dollar investment will be allocated as follows:

  • Electric Boats and Infrastructure: $1 million for the acquisition and deployment of the electric boat fleet, and for enhancing beach accessibility.

  • Tourism and Regional Programs: $800,000 for the development and promotion of P2P tourism programs and sightseeing adventures in collaboration with Abraham Accord countries.

  • Innovation Hub and Research: $600,000 for the establishment of the Global Climate Change Innovation Hub, focusing on research and development.
